Food Truck Mania

Leave the cooking to someone else! Join us for a food truck dine-out right on the Silva Valley blacktop! This delicious, dinnertime event is a great opportunity for parents to mix and mingle, while kids get extra time to play with friends at school during non-school hours. You will be able to purchase food from Drewski's and Kona Ice — and a percentage of all sales will be given back to Silva Valley!

Fun Run Week

Our BIGGEST fundraising event of the year! This year, the PTA is amping up the fun with spirited t-shirts, friendly competition, and awesome class prizes! The Fun Run will take place on Friday, September 13. Visit the Fun Run webpage to get all the details on registering your student to get donors, learn about the awesome class prizes, see the grade level run schedule  and team colors, volunteer, and more.

Food Truck Mania

Leave the cooking to someone else! Join us for a food truck dine-out at Silva Valley! This delicious, dinnertime event is a great opportunity for parents to mix and mingle, while kids get extra time to play with friends at school during non-school hours. You will be able to purchase food from Drewski's, Smoothie Patrol, Handel's, and Kona Ice — and a percentage of all sales will be given back to Silva Valley!
Note: a Cross Country meet will be taking place at Silva Valley at the start of Food Truck Mania. For the safety of runners, please be cognizant of not crossing the racetrack while in use. Thank you!

Harvest Festival:
The Silva Valley Halloween Haunt

Fall, family fun for everyone! Come out for an evening of carnival games, inflatables and rock-climbing wall, petting zoo, face painting, and cake walk. Check out all the exciting class-sponsored raffle baskets. For all the details, click here.

Also, in case you missed the Harvest Festival, but would like a chance to win one of our amazing classroom-sponsored raffle baskets, the PTA will be in front of school. Raffle tickets are sold in packs of 5, 10, or 20. The raffle baskets will be on display, so you can drop your raffle tickets to enter the prize drawings, which will take place immediately following the Halloween parade on October 31.  You can also order raffle tickets online for pickup.

Hallween Parade, featuring Raffle Basket Drawings & "Kiss the Goat"

Following the annual Halloween parade, this highly-anticipated assembly includes drawing and announcing the winners of the classroom-sponsored Harvest Festival raffle baskets. Also, the lucky "kiss the goat" winning Silva Valley staff member will be announced, and yes, he/she will kiss the goat!

Outdoor Learning Space Ribbon Cutting

Please join us as we celebrate the official unveiling of the Silva Valley outdoor learning space! This newly-constructed outdoor classroom, which features tables with umbrellas and a beautiful October Glory Maple, is proudly donated by the 2023-2024 Silva Valley PTA, and is a peaceful space for all Silva Valley students, teachers, and staff to enjoy.
