Our PTA is a group of dedicated parent volunteers who work tirelessly to help our students, teachers, and school thrive. To achieve this, we:

Raise money through our membership drive and fundraising events, such as the Fun Run, Dine Outs, and the Spring Gala, to help fund enrichment programs (i.e. art, choir, garden), assemblies, and school activities, and provide field trip scholarships.  We also fund subscriptions (including Raz-Kids and Scholastic Magazine) and technology (i.e. Chromebooks), and provide teachers/staff extra support to purchase needed classroom materials (i.e. books, sports equipment), furniture, experiences, and programs to enhance our children's education.
 

Build community with events, such as Donuts for Grown-ups, Harvest Festival, Family Dance, and Family STEM Night.  We also host a variety of teacher appreciation events throughout the year, including luncheons and Teacher Appreciation Week. These events create a sense of community that fosters a supportive network, promotes school spirit, and strengthens Silva Valley's overall school culture.
